Students are introduced to natural and organic skincare ingredients including oils, butters, waxes, essential oils, and botanical extracts. You’ll learn how to choose ingredients based on skin type and function, understand their roles in formulations, and gain clarity on what makes a product safe, stable, and skin-friendly.

You’ll receive guided instruction on how to formulate a variety of beginner-friendly skincare products like facial cleansers, toners, facial oils, whipped body butters, balms, scrubs, and bath salts.

The course covers beginner-level good manufacturing practices (GMP), hygiene tips, introduction to preservatives, and labeling basics. Students complete assessments to reinforce learning and receive a Certificate in Natural Skincare Formulation upon successful completion, making it ideal for starting a clean beauty brand or hobby skincare practice.
